Nadia Pandolfo graduated in 1995 from USC with a dual Bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing and Philosophy and a minor in Film. She began by experimenting in Photography as a child, first studied photography in high school and later in college at both UCSB and USC. She began shooting fashion in 2001, and shortly after embarked on a career as a fashion and portrait photographer in 2002. Since then, her work has been featured in many magazines across the US and Europe. She also appeared on America’s Next Top Model both as a judge and as a photographer in 2005. "Zeitgeist is a safe fertile ground for kids." Nadia volunteers at the center on Tuesdays & Thursdays helping students with their homework.

Georgette Perry is fifteen years old. She is a sophomore at St. Monica Catholic High School. Georgette maintains an honors level GPA, is the Vice President of the Black Cultural Society, a member of the leadership council of Young Black Scholars, and historian for the Delta Gems organization. She is also a girl scout. Georgette started with us in the summer of '08 and continues volunteering during the school year once a week.

Melanie studied Architecture and Urban Planning at the University of Washington where she obtained her BA in Architecture.  She is an independent designer and enthusiastic crafts person and has shared her sculpture at Design Commission in Seattle, WA and Shotgun Space in Los Angeles.  She currently works for an Echo Park art space, Machine Project, and loves to dedicate her free time to tutoring, exploring her role as a mentor and future educator.

Bill Plummer

Bill Plummer is a licensed Realtor. He is writing a book entitled, Operator’s Manual for the Mind and Emotions. He would also like to open child-care centers in underprivileged areas of Los Angeles. Bill has a BS in Physics and a MA in Asian Studies. Bill volunteers his time with us on Wednesdays.
